Thanks so much! I use a Block Quote and then add Divider lines inside to force space between sections. That way, everything's more readable and not scrunched up.
I've tried other formatting methods like using code blocks, but that ended up not working well inside the Substack app. The "Block Quote + Dividers" method is the only thing I've found that looks good on both desktop and mobile.

Its a very elegant solution to the problem. Substack does offer fairly limited formatting options that don't always work well for actual plays.
